Knitted groups, or entangled groups, are groups of members that are interlaced. Knitted groups are not necessarily subsystems, but may resemble them. They may also be similar to clusters.

Knitted groups can present as two or more snapshots of a certain member, members from the same source, families, or members from a certain time period, but they do not have to be.

Knitted groups may or may not feel comfortable presenting as one person, and some knitted groups may be similar to each other, but not all knitted groups consist of members similar to each other. However, all knitted groups are partitionary. A non-partitonary knitted group may be called a netted group.

A single member for a knitted group can be called a thread.
