A Leading Host is a headmate - who is a host - that leads the system as a whole, that includes the subsystems in that system. Sidesystems can have their own leading host or they can have another sidesystem's leading host.

In a Leader-Compartmentalized Structure or similar structure a Leading Host may make sure everything in the system is up and in order. They help newer-formed layers get situated, collect data from the Layer Leaders about daily life in the system and/or any situations that may need to be handled or situations that already are handled
