|memory outer banks (n.)|
|Applies to||systems, headmates, system functions|
the act of unconsciously or subconsciously erasing a slew of short term memories (temporarily).. to cope with the backlash of suddenly having unwanted memories rise to the surface
they later (the short term memories) go back in place (as in, go back into the memory banks), far away from the awareness..
this can feel like dissociating and "shifting" into another headmate, splitting into new or other headmates, and depersonalization.
this can result in disorientation of time, place and movement
this may also result in new headmates, or fragments of them being scattered (non haphazardly) throughout the headspace
