As a type of sisasystem, sparsystems are related to other sisasystem types, such as sidesystems, subsystems, mesosystems, and hemisystems.

A cluster of sparsystems, in the Fhinanara-kah terminology system, is called a nunah-haanruk, or alternatively simply a sparsystem cluster.
