Outsourced is a descriptor term for a system member from a source the system didn't create. This could be a fictive or a factive, coming from a fictional or factional source, or a variety of other introject sources.

The term was coined by Laura Gilkey in May 2002 to describe soulbonding of "characters that the SBer did not create." Also stated was that many soulbonds existed on an outsourced-original spectrum.[1]
