Paratien is a modifier for systems whose headspace is fused with/is the same as their paracosm(s)/daydream world(s).

There may be a distinction between self-aware paras (parabonds) and headmates, but this line may be blurry or nonexistent as well.

Paratien systems can be median, multiple, or any mix of the two, as well as any origin. This term is not exclusive to paragenic/dreamway/etc. systems, but may be more common with said groups.[1]

Related Terms[edit | edit source]

A parabased system is one whose system is heavily influenced by daydreaming, and may also be paratien.

An intercosm is a place in the inner world that is between a layer (or other system structure) and a paracosm, and a parastrata is a layer that holds a system's paracosm(s).
