A parotraumagenic system or headmate was created to deal with trauma; for example, to ward off loneliness during bullying, or someone to do tasks the host was unable to do due to triggers. Typically, said creation is a conscious decision.

Parogenic is a general term for headmates and systems that were created, while traumagenic is a term for systems that result from trauma. It is not to be mistaken for pariotraumagenic.
