Pet Dreaming is the dreamer counterpart of pet regression. Similar to age regression and corresponding with age dreaming, pet dreamers tend to act like a pet or other animal, and may do things that an animal would do. In comparison to pet regression, pet dreamers never really fully slip into the mindset of an animal.

This mindset is usually controlled by the pet dreamer, but not always. Pet dreaming can be done for many different reasons similar to its counterpart, such as coping, for fun, for a pet lifestyle, for aesthetic, and much more. Pet dreaming is not sexual.
