A pseudohost is a headmate that functions similarly to a host, however for some reason is not a host.[1]

Some examples include:

  • A headmate who primarily fronts for a couple of months, but then stops fronting as often, or at all.
  • A headmate who functions similarly to a host, but does not consider themself one.
  • A headmate who is very similar to the host, but isn't the host. They may appear as a facet, snapshot, or just a regular headmate.
