Quoinumeren is a system descriptor specifying that the number of total headmates is unknown.

This may be due to being a very large system, being a system where headmates are constantly splitting and fusing (see bombotien), or due to having many subsystems.

Related Terms[edit | edit source]

  • Quoinumeren uses both the quoi- prefix (meaning "what"[1] in French, emphasizing uncertainty or unknown), and the -numeren suffix (referring to numbering).
  • Quoinumeren can be combined with other terms describing the numbers of headmates in a system, such as quoicentumplex, for example.
  • Polynull may be seen as a synonym, being a system of undisclosed numbers. The number could be undisclosed for a number of reasons, like not wanting to say, not knowing, etc.
