Spoilers are information that certain system members may not know about and that are deliberately kept from them. Outsiders may be asked not to reveal spoilers to the relevant headmates. The information may be revealed to the whole system at a time when they are ready to process it.

There may also be mechanisms in place internally that keep members from revealing spoilers to the relevant headmates, or even to erase memories of said knowledge should it preemptively be revealed.

In atrium systems, spoilers may not be allowed to pass through a front block and into collective memory to avoid spreading the information. Some awareness of spoilers may still be accessible through isolated lore or implicit lore.

Spoilers may be relevant in systems that experience Dissociative Amnesia.

Lonelets and astraymates may be deliberately kept from finding out about their system if its existence is considered to be a spoiler.

There may be a member that does not have any spoilers pertaining to them, such as an archivist or gatekeeper, but especially in polyplexes, each sisasystem may have their own defined spoilers, with no one member having all the information.
