A standardized identity shift refers to when a headmate, usually an introject, switches to another source material of their own accord.
Such a headmate may also be called an oblitive, and they may be considered to be both a post- and pre- introject simultaneously.
If their are frequent shifts, such a headmate could also be called a fluxtive.
