System Server

From Pluralpedia, the collaborative plurality dictionary
system server ( n.)
Applies tosystems

A system server is an online space mainly intended for members of a single system to communicate among each other. System servers on Discord will often have PluralKit or Tupperbox in them, but this is not technically a requirement.

Having a designated space for inter-system discussion may be helpful to systems that have trouble communicating in the head. It can also be used as a way to better facilitate system-wide discussion, reaching and recording all members' votes for a consensus.

System servers might also be used for:

  • Calendars, keeping notes of upcoming events and responsibilities
  • Tracking switches, pulling up private member info, or managing proxies without others seeing
  • Channels where specific sub-groups can talk solely to each other (headmates to other headmates, a protector-only chat, etc.)
  • Channels where members can send notes/images for other members to see when they enter front

And many more that haven't been listed here. A system server is personal, and can ultimately be used for anything the system can think of.
