Traumaform refers to systems who are created through thoughtform and traumagenic origins. This can be due to trauma causing the system to split headmates intentionally to deal with said trauma, but also can happen as a result of involuntary splitting due to trauma. While this can be seen as a partially endogenic term, this origin results from primarily trauma. Despite this, systems of any origin can use this term.

Traumaform was coined in 2021 by the system Dark Matter Cluster after they realized they weren’t just traumagenic. As a result, they made the term traumaform to accurately represent their origin.
