UIL is an acronym standing for "Using 'I' Loosely." It is used in reference to the first-person pronouns a system uses for themselves.

/uil is a tone tag to indicate a headmate referring to the system as a whole, but using "I" instead of "we", for example to distinguish between the system and an external group, or for ease of reading.
