Unspecified Dissociative Disorder (USDD) is diagnosed when a dissociative disorder is present but does not fully meet the criteria for any identifiably distinct disorder.
An individual is diagnosed with USDD if their clinician chooses not to specify the reason they do not fit the criteria for a different disorder.[1] USDD may be used when the clinician does not choose to disclose more information about the dissociative disorder being diagnosed or is diagnosing quickly in emergency settings.[2]

USDD is a diagnostic code in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fifth edition (DSM-V).
USDD is a partial replacement for Dissociative Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (DDNOS) from the DSM-4, alongside its counterpart, Other Specified Dissociative Disorder.
