A vistroject is a headmate who is visually based on or connected to an external source, but are themself a non-introject.[1]

This term can be used by any system, but is specifically coined for aphantasia (an inability to see images in your head) in mind, as such systems may struggle to understand what headmates look like and thus cause them to be visually based on or connected to an external source.

The term is a portmanteau of "visual" and "introject."

A Facetroject is specifically based on a face.

A faceclaim is any face element that a system member uses (such as a face, a voice, etc.) for appearence inside/outside of the system.

If the headmate in question gained this appearance after forming, they may be considered a pre-fictive or pre-factive.

This appearance may be considered a transformative source.

Headmates like this may or may not consider themself molded rather than sourced.
