Voidspace refers to a state a headmate finds themselves in when they are void of emotions while carrying those emotions visually and physically on their somas. (For example, they may carry a visual representation of an emotion in a locket or box and not be able to feel it in the meantime.)

This is a coping mechanism for when they cannot handle their emotions.

Related Terms[edit | edit source]

While this term is very similar to the affix -voidspace, it has nothing to do with it, as the affix refers to headspaces that contains only void. Same thing goes for the -space suffix, as the voidspace state does not refer to headspaces either.

A voidspace channeler is a headmate assigned with the role of absorbing the emotions of another headmate who is in voidspace on request.

A headmate in voidspace may be similar to a cassmate.
