Kin are people who identify as partially or entirely nonhuman – sometimes just as another person. Whether of a fictional character, a fictional species, a non-fictional species, even another person.

Kins are not specific to plurality, as singlets can also kin. However, there are some similarities between kinning and plurality.

Kins are not the same as introjects. People in a system can kin, but that does not mean kinning is the same as being an introject.
