A demi-fictive is a headmate is not fully what they are a fictive of for any reason[1].

This can include being an original self and having only a partial component of their source or sources, and may also include hybrid fictives, post-fictives, or composites.

They may feel their identity is 'inspired by' or 'based on' their sources without them explicitly being a fictive.

The factive counterpart to this term is semi-factive, and semi-fictive individuals may also use labels like altive or post-fictive.
