A semi-multiple[1] person is one who feels like they are “on the cusp” between being multiple and singlet, or feel like they’re only half-multiple/half-singlet/something similar. Some examples of this can be:

  • Median systems that feel like they’re closer to being a singlet than multiple.
  • People who have trouble distinguishing between being multiple and being a singlet due to other disorders/disabilities.
  • Gateway, Dreamway, or Paracontinuum systems that are not consistently plural.

Related Terms

Demiplural is similar to semi-multiple, but describes the experience as being "stuck" rather than how the system is.

Semi-Multiple could also fall under Plural Non-System.
