Orthodox dæmonism may refer to older, original or foundational beliefs about dæmonism, from the community's earlier stages/waves. For example, traditionally a given dæmian would have one dæmon.
It may also refer to "traditional" beliefs about dæmonism. These can include the beliefs that dæmons should not be projected as human and that dæmons should not change their forms once settled.
