An editive is a headmate who is sourced from fanmade content for fictional works, with no connections to the original work other than the fanmade content, such as headcanons, AUs, fan edits, spoilers, etc.

A example of a editive may be a headmate who is sourced from a popular piece of media, even though the body has never interacted with the media other than through fanmade works.
